We’re excited to announce that Dr. Cameron Good is joining the NeuroLux team as our Chief Research Officer on April 1st to expand research and product development of new implantable device technology. Prior to NeuroLux, he was a Senior Research Scientist with the United States Army running a research program focused on biocompatible electronic devices. He is an expert in designing and executing behavioral physiology experiments utilizing optogenetic stimulation to study sleep and motor systems. Additionally, he recently rotated off as Chair of the National Institute of Health Clinical Neurophysiology, Devices, Neuroprosthetics and Biosensors Study Section, where he led the review of funding proposals for basic and applied research across small business and academia. Dr. Good received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Central Arkansas in 2001 and went on to earn his Doctorate in Neurobiology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2005, prior to completing a Postdoctoral Fellowship with the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Dr. Good’s comments, “I’m excited to join NeuroLux to develop breakthrough implantable technologies and am eager to work with this visionary team.” In his new role as CRO, he will explore new technology applications and expand our basic research and commercialization capabilities.
